Customs Clearance, Handled Expertly

Small details make a big difference

Customs processes depend on preparation, timing and understanding how goods move through clearance environments in practice.

With 25 years experience navigating the global freight and customs industry, we support movements where accuracy matters, and delays carry real consequences.

Import and Export Declarations Across Complex Movements

Taking care of the details

We manage both import and export declarations for a wide range of shipments, supporting permanent and temporary movements across commercial goods, personal effects and specialist equipment.

Our team works directly within HMRC customs systems and across a wide range of Customs Procedure Codes (CPCs), ensuring goods are entered under the correct conditions for their movement.

Where appropriate, we also act as a direct representative with HMRC on behalf of our clients and partners.

Commercial importers must normally be VAT registered and hold an EORI number. If you are unsure what applies to your shipment, we can help confirm requirements before goods move.

Documentation is prepared carefully and reviewed early, helping goods move through clearance without unnecessary disruption.

Our people know the system inside out

Customs Clearance doesn’t happen in isolation.

Our team works closely within airport and customs clearance environments – particularly around Heathrow – coordinating with authorities, handling agents and logistics partners to keep shipments progressing when requirements are complex or timelines are tight.

We also support Freight Forwarders and Logistics Partners requiring reliable UK-side customs clearance.

Aligned With Freight From the Start

Our team manages Freight as well as Declarations, so customs preparation begins before goods reach the border.

This keeps documentation aligned with routing, avoids duplication, and helps movements continue smoothly once clearance is complete.

We work directly with our clients throughout the process.

Preparation makes the difference

Most customs delays begin before goods arrive for clearance.

Red Dot will confirm requirements early, review documentation in advance, and stay involved until release is complete, ensuring shipments continue without interruption.
